Unexpected Blessing

I told you all a while ago that we have been sending letters to our son.  Two of the times we sent letters and gifts to him we included self addressed stamped envelopes.  Well, today we got a letter from our son, actually written by his foster father on behalf of him.  We are pretty excited.  Here is the basic translation.

Dear Father, Mother, brother and sister, hello:
I got the letter from you.  Since then I had a torn feeling because I love my father, mother, grandpa, grandma, and sister in China as well.  They are nice to me for the last ten years but now I have to leave them.  But I thank you for offering me a warm and happy family.  I really love you.  I like riding bicycle, swimming, watching cartoons, reading comics and playing pingpong.  I wish (can't wait) to see you soon too.  I hope all your family has a great time.  Be happy and joyful.  Your loving son, Xue Cheng.

Hello, this is Xue Cheng's foster father and mother.  Our family appreciates you a lot.  We received the clothes you sent and wish all your family good luck and good health.

I included the Chinese if you want to read it for yourselves.  I know we are all fluent.  We had assumed that we were not going to get a letter since it has been over a month.  What a blessing to hear from him.  Also, breaks our hearts a little to know that he has to leave his foster family but at the same time we are so grateful that they have been good to him.  Their love will help him attach to our family in a more healthy way.

We leave in 10 days.  We are trying to enjoy every day and praise God and enjoy the blessings we have but I must admit that it is easy to slip into the impatient mode and want time to stream by quickly so we can get to Andrew.  It is a crazy feeling to know we are going to see him soon.  We are pretty excited!  Hope you are blessed!
